First Teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Reveals Cast and Plot Hints

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is now in production, and Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser, which drops several major hints about the film’s plot. The sequel is slated to reach theaters in March 2027.

The complete cast list has been revealed, confirming returns from franchise favorites: Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Kristen Bell, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Ben Kingsley, Matt Berry, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Nick Offerman and Richard Ayoade.

Jeff Fowler returns as director, with Josh Miller, John Whittington and Patrick Casey credited as writers and Neal H. Moritz, Toru Nakahara and Toby Ascher listed as producers. The credits also include character attributions such as Tails (voice), Sonic (voice), Knuckles (voice) and Tom Wachowski.
