Lindsey Jae Minshew, 40, a Florida doctor, was arrested on Jan. 23 and charged with grand theft after police say she allegedly stole $2,716.61 worth of merchandise from a Target on River City Drive in Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).

Online JSO records show Minshew was booked Jan. 23 on a grand theft charge for an amount between $750 and $4,999, a booking report viewed by PEOPLE said.

Action News Jax, citing the Florida Department of Health, reported that Minshew has been a licensed medical professional in Florida since January 2012. Authorities did not specify which items were allegedly taken from the store.

The JSO report viewed by PEOPLE said a Target employee reported the theft and that Minshew’s black 2024 Porsche 911 arrived in the area about 30 minutes before she entered the store. Officers later found the vehicle, which had been reported stolen, the report said.

Minshew was taken into custody Jan. 23 and released on Jan. 24. It is not immediately known if she has retained legal counsel, and authorities have not detailed what specific items were allegedly stolen.
