Pcgamer reports that Toronto-based developer Siege Camp is expanding Foxhole with aerial combat, adding planes, bombers, and paratroopers to the long-running war MMO.

The article explains that aircraft must be manufactured in pieces and transported by trailer or train, and that assembly in a live war could take hours. In a demo the author climbed into bombers, operated bomb doors and carpet-bombing, and said a single bombing run could erase weeks of player-built bunkers and fortifications. The write-up also covers basic flight controls, the challenge of landing, a green guidance line showing relative altitude, and new paratrooper drops from transport planes.

The author said they are unsure how the wider community will embrace air warfare and raised questions about the cost and risks of losing expensive bombers. They added they will be present when the new war starts on February 9 and expected to fight on the Colonial side.
