Frank refuses to confirm if Cristian Romero was fined

Details reported by Goal say Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank refused to reveal whether the club fined captain Cristian Romero for an Instagram rant after a 2-2 draw with Manchester City, following a transfer window in which Spurs signed only two first-team players amid an injury crisis.

Romero took to Instagram after becoming ill at half-time and seeing the squad reduced to 11 available players, calling the situation "unbelievable but true and disgraceful" while thanking fans and saying the team would "keep showing up and taking responsibility." Spurs have 13 players injured, including James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison.
