Season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is proving a streaming success as new episodes arrive weekly on Crunchyroll. The series currently ranks as the third most popular show on the platform, trailing the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen and Hell's Paradise amid a crowded anime slate.

Produced by Madhouse and based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada, Frieren debuted in 2023 and quickly became a hit. The story follows Frieren, an elven mage who can live for thousands of years; after defeating the Demon King with her adventuring party, she spends long years wandering before setting out on a new journey with a young mage.
