FTX Recovery Trust to Distribute $2.2 Billion to Creditors on March 31, 2026
The FTX Recovery Trust will distribute $2.2 billion to creditors on March 31, 2026, with eligible claimants expected to receive funds through their chosen distribution provider within one to three business days. This fourth distribution allocates 18% for Dotcom Customer claims, 5% for US Customer Entitlement Claims, and 15% for both General Unsecured Claims and Digital Asset Loan Claims, while convenience claims will be reimbursed at 120% under the recovery plan.
After this round, roughly $10 billion will have been paid out, and a fifth distribution is scheduled for May 29, 2026. The reimbursements could affect crypto prices in the short term if recipients invest recovery funds back into digital assets. Payments began in February 2025 with $1.2 billion, followed by $5 billion in May 2025 and $1.6 billion in September 2025.
