Gabby told by doctor she is infertile in Happy's Place episode

Nbc reports that in the January 23 episode of Happy's Place, Gabby (Melissa Peterman) was told by her doctor that she is infertile.

Earlier in the episode Gabby arrived late at the bar and announced she was pregnant, prompting cheers from coworkers Bobbie (Reba McEntire), Steven (Pablo Castelblanco) and Isabella (Belissa Escobedo). The group held a baby-name party after Gabby's declaration, even though she had not taken a pregnancy test and Bobbie worried the hopes were premature.

During the party Gabby took a call from her doctor and returned to tell the group the news, saying, "He said there was a very simple reason I wasn't pregnant. Turns out, I'm infertile," she said through tears. Gabby asked to be left alone; Bobbie later told Emmett (Rex Linn), who added levity by asking, "So her boobs weren't really... ya know?" The sitcom airs Fridays at 8/7c and the next day on Peacock.
