Gabriel mocks Tottenham with social media post after derby win
Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1 in the north London derby, with Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres each scoring twice. Randal Kolo Muani's first-half goal proved only a consolation as Igor Tudor's first game as Spurs interim boss ended in humiliation. The visitors dominated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, registering 20 shots to Tottenham's six in what mirrored their 4-1 win at the Emirates in November.
The result restored confidence after the mid-week draw with Wolves and saw Arsenal re-establish a five-point lead over Manchester City, albeit having played a game more. After the match Gabriel Magalhães posted a photo on the Arsenal team bus holding a four of hearts playing card, with the Player of the Match award, a Rio drink and a packet of M&Ms in front of him.
He had been involved in two controversial moments during the game: he escaped a possible red card for a last-man challenge on Kolo Muani and was accused of theatrics early in the second half.
