PC players were surprised when Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight listed a recommended 32 GB of RAM, four times the 8 GB suggested for 2022’s Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. TT Games said the PC build was still being optimized and that a spec needed to be submitted to publish a Steam listing.

On February 13 the studio lowered the recommendation to 16 GB, noted the specs are not final, and said it will continue optimizing ahead of the May 29 launch. This isn’t an isolated retreat. IO Interactive’s 007: First Light also initially listed 32 GB before dropping its recommended RAM to 16 GB and reducing its VRAM requirement; the studio blamed the change on miscommunication.

Valve has cited memory-price spikes when explaining delays and why the Steam Machine’s pricing has not been revealed, with the device now expected to ship later in the first half of 2026. The price pressure is real for would-be upgraders.
