'Ghostbusters,' 'Charles in Charge' star Jennifer Runyon dead at 65
Jennifer Runyon, known for roles in Ghostbusters, Charles in Charge and A Very Brady Christmas, has died at 65. Her family announced on Facebook that 'This past Friday night our beloved Jennifer passed away, it was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family.' They added that 'She will always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to her family and friends' and closed with 'Rest in peace our Jenn.' The family did not give a cause.
'Bewitched' actress Erin Murphy posted that Runyon had been battling cancer, writing: 'So sad to share that my friend Jennifer Runyon Corman has passed away after a brief battle with cancer.' Runyon appeared in the 1984 movie Ghostbusters and was seen with Bill Murray in the film.
She was also known for playing Gwendolyn Pierce on the '80s sitcom Charles in Charge and for portraying Cindy Brady in 1988's A Very Brady Christmas. Her credits included the soap Another World and television work through the '90s such as Quantum Leap and Murder, She Wrote.
