One of Prime Video’s most praised fantasy series can be watched in a weekend. Audiences still have two seasons to watch or re-watch on the service before the story concludes. The show is adapted from a novel co-written by two of the most prolific British fantasy authors and features an A-list cast, including David Tennant, Michael Sheen and Jon Hamm alongside a host of beloved British actors.

It follows the angel Aziraphale (Sheen) and the demon Crowley (Tennant), who form an unlikely friendship after Crowley loses the anti-Christ and the pair must find the missing child to bring about, or prevent, the end of the world. In 2025, co-author and showrunner Neil Gaiman was accused of sexual assault, misconduct and coercion by multiple women.

The cases remain ongoing and Gaiman has denied the allegations; the severity of the accusations altered fans’ reception and led production companies and distributors to cut ties, with Prime Video canceling a planned third season after the second.
