Google unveils Pixel 10a early — five things it must nail
Google offered an early look at the Pixel 10a with a 15‑second teaser that flashes a powder blue finish and ends on a Feb. 18, 2026 preorder date. At first glance the phone looks nearly identical to last year’s Pixel 9a; the camera bump appears to be gone, leaving a flat back.
The company’s tagline, "A phone with more in store," contrasts with sparse leaks that suggest only modest changes. Price will matter: the Pixel 9a launched at $499 for 128GB and $599 for 256GB, while early leaks place the 10a in Europe near $640 for the base model and $755 for the larger one.
The Google Store preorder page also promises an exclusive offer for signing up by Feb. 13. Other upgrades that could justify an upgrade include more RAM or a higher‑RAM option for AI and photo processing, a handful of premium features such as Call Assist and Gemini Live making their way down, and a battery that truly lasts all day — leaks suggest about 5,100mAh.
