At $499, the Pixel 10a is a compact, pocket-friendly midrange phone that builds on last year’s Pixel 9a with a few meaningful refinements. The handset keeps the same overall design and camera setup but feels more polished in hand. Google made the camera completely flush with the body, which improves how the phone sits when held.

The display’s peak brightness rises to 3,000 nits from 2,700, though the brightness slider still feels more sensitive than on some Samsung and iPhone models. The 10a does not include Qi2 wireless charging or the magnetic PixelSnap adapters offered on other Pixel 10 models, a convenience similar to the iPhone 17e’s MagSafe.

Performance comes from the Tensor G4 chip with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB base configuration, specs that feel increasingly modest as on-device AI demands rise; Google’s seven-year update promise helps offset that concern.
