Grammy Highlights: Bad Bunny Wins Album of the Year
At the 68th Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny won album of the year for the Puerto Rican-recorded Debí Tirar Más Fotos, the first Spanish-language album to receive the prize. He dedicated the award to people who had to leave their homelands and was visibly emotional while accepting the honor.
Kendrick Lamar was another major winner, taking five trophies including record of the year for "Luther" and best rap album for GNX, bringing his career total to 27 Grammys, the most for a rapper.
The ceremony included explicit political statements. Several artists wore "ICE OUT" pins; Bad Bunny said "ICE out" when accepting an earlier award, and others onstage urged continued protest and support for immigrants.
The show also featured notable performances and milestones: Billie Eilish and Finneas won song of the year for "Wildflower" for a third time, a K-pop song won a Grammy in the visual-media category for the first time, and artists such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber delivered eye-catching performances.
