The Guardian Travel section is inviting readers to share their best travel tips from Scandinavia and Finland, from designer shopping in Helsinki to cabins in Finland’s lake district or sailing Norway’s fjords.

The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will win a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property; the company has more than 3,000 properties worldwide. Winning and other selected tips will be published in the Guardian Travel section and on the website. Contributors are asked to keep tips to about 100 words.

Readers may attach a photo but entries will be judged on the words. The entry form requests location, price and website details, and asks for a name (first name only if preferred), where you live and an email address. The maximum file size for photos is 5.7 MB.

The competition is open only to UK-based readers. Responses can be submitted anonymously; the form is encrypted and only the Guardian has access to contributions. The Guardian says it will use the data only for the feature and will delete personal data when it is no longer required. The competition closes on Monday 19 January at 10am GMT.
