Guardian invites health and fitness questions for event with Sridhar, Frostrup and Snape
Guardian Live is inviting readers to submit health and fitness questions for a special event featuring public health expert Devi Sridhar, journalist and author Mariella Frostrup, and health and fitness columnist Joel Snape, who will join the Guardian’s Today in Focus presenter Annie Kelly.
The panel will discuss simple, actionable ways to stay fit and healthy as you move through the second half of life, including staying strong and mobile, managing stress and improving sleep. The invitation highlights everyday goals such as signing up for a 10k, trying bouldering, lifting a kettlebell, eating better or keeping up with grandchildren, and suggests readers ask about exercise types and frequency, diet and other practical concerns—whether Pilates is worth it or “should we really all be drinking mugfuls of piping hot creatine?” Readers can post questions via an encrypted form; responses can be anonymous and the Guardian says only it will have access to the submissions.
The form requests optional details such as name, location, a short background, a question, an optional photo (maximum file size 5.7 MB), phone number and email, and states that contact details will only be seen by the Guardian and will be deleted when no longer required for the feature.
The piece notes alternative ways to get in touch and refers readers to guidance if they have trouble using the form.
