Gudmundsson appeals for help after burglary at his home

After the joy of scoring the decisive penalty that secured Fiorentina’s comeback in the first leg of their Conference League round of 16 tie against Rakow, Albert Gudmundsson revealed a troubling turn of events.

The Icelandic striker posted on Instagram that his house was burgled yesterday and that several valuable items were taken, including some particularly important personal belongings.

He appealed for anyone with information about those responsible to get in touch with him or the police.

Gudmundsson also said a reward will be offered for any information leading to the recovery of the stolen items.
