The Guthrie family has asked the Pima County Sheriff’s Department to maintain a presence at Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home while the search for the 84-year-old continues. The sheriff’s office reminded media and the public to obey traffic and private property laws and warned that no trespassing on the Guthrie property will be enforced.

Drone footage showed three officers opening a manhole cover in the backyard and probing a septic tank with a long pole, but the search turned up nothing and no further details were released about what they were seeking. Nancy was last seen on Jan. 31 when Annie’s husband, Tommaso Cioni, dropped her off after dinner.

Detectives and agents are conducting follow-up at multiple locations; officials say the investigation remains active and that no suspects, persons of interest, or vehicles have been identified. Savannah, Annie and their brother Camron posted an emotional video to the alleged kidnappers, with Savannah pleading for their mother’s return and offering to pay.
