First Look: Guy Ritchie's In the Grey Stars Henry Cavill & Jake Gyllenhaal

A first look has been unveiled for Guy Ritchie's In the Grey, reuniting Henry Cavill with the director after The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024). The images show Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González as members of a covert team sent to steal back a billion-dollar fortune taken by a ruthless despot.

Ritchie wrote and directed the globe-trotting heist thriller, which blends elaborate crimes with blockbuster action. The ensemble also includes Rosamund Pike, Fisher Stevens, Jason Wong, Emmett J. Scanlan and Carlos Bardem, and production wrapped in 2023. The film began shooting in September 2023 and finished before the end of the year.

It faced several distribution changes: Lionsgate had set a January 17, 2025 release but removed the film in 2024 amid extended post-production, and U.S. rights later moved to Black Bear Pictures, which shifted the date from April 10, 2026 to May 15, 2026.
