Guy Ritchie's MobLand Surges Again as Season 2 Looms
Guy Ritchie has carved a niche in television with witty, fast-paced dramas. He executive-produced the gritty crime thriller MobLand for Paramount+. Though it lacks some of his usual flourishes, the show still feels like one of his best works and enlists strong British acting talent to tell a deranged crime tale.
After more than six months without a new episode, MobLand has returned to Paramount+'s streaming chart following several weeks off the list, per FlixPatrol. That resurgence overlaps with the release of Young Sherlock, which is the number one TV show on Prime Video globally and may have driven new viewers to Ritchie’s earlier project.
Filming for Season 2 is underway and the series has expanded beyond London, with some cast members spotted in Spain, though London remains central as Harry Da Souza continues to fix everyone’s problems while hiding his own. The Season 1 finale flipped character dynamics and shifted alliances, setting Season 2 on a more explosive course.
