Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscars 2026 gown featured high side slits
Gwyneth Paltrow walked the Oscars 2026 red carpet in a strapless, ivory silk Giorgio Armani Privé gown that reads Old Hollywood from the front but reveals dramatic high cut-out slits at the sides and hidden, subtly sparkling sheer trousers. She paired the look with a dazzling diamond necklace.
Though Paltrow, 53, is not nominated, she is set to present during the telecast. "Marty Supreme" received nine nominations, including best picture; co-star Timothée Chalamet is up for best actor and Josh Safdie is nominated for directing, writing and film editing.
This marks Paltrow’s first time back at the Academy Awards in nearly a decade. Her last appearance was in 2015, when she wore a one-shoulder pink Ralph & Russo gown that is currently up for auction. Earlier this year she appeared at the SAG Actor Awards 2026 in a plunging sheer lace Givenchy gown with turquoise Belperron earrings from the 1930s, and last month she wore a pink Prada set at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival that recalled her 1999 Ralph Lauren Oscars gown.
