Gwyneth Paltrow says she was sewn into her Oscars 2026 dress and couldn’t pee
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscars 2026 red carpet gown was more complicated than it appeared. The 53-year-old wore a white Giorgio Armani Privé strapless gown with sparkling slits up to her armpits, and tucked underneath was a pair of see-through, sparkly pants that showed off her long, toned legs.
In a behind-the-scenes video on Goop’s YouTube page she shared her red carpet prep and even FaceTimed her daughter Apple. During the video Paltrow said she was being “sewn into” the sheer-paneled style and warned Apple that she wouldn’t “be able to pee” all night.
“I won’t be able to pee for the whole time I’m there,” she said. Makeup artist Georgie Eisdell gave Paltrow facial massages, used the Lyma laser and depuffing eye masks, and the actress relied on her company’s skincare products, including the Youth-Boost Peptide Serum ($150) and the All-in-One Super Nutrient Face Oil ($105), which she called “the magic stuff.” She finished the look with Tiffany & Co.
