Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals weight loss 2 years after prison release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard posted a video on Instagram stepping on a scale and showing she weighs 108.2 pounds. She panned the camera down to show a teal sports bra and tight black leggings, and noted that at 4'11" she didn’t lose weight by dieting, exercising or using a GLP-1.

"Okay y'all, I'm not gatekeeping. My weight loss came from life circumstances," she wrote, explaining her habits changed after her December 2023 release from prison. Blanchard served eight years for convincing then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn to murder her abusive mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015.

"My lifestyle changed a lot — from commissary junk food to home-cooked meals and trying new foods," she shared. She added, "I don't follow a workout routine (though I'd love one), I don't limit my diet, and I don't use GLP-1," and said she wasn’t actively trying to lose weight: "my whole life just changed and adjusted to freedom.
