Harry Styles rebutted accusations of "queerbaiting" by kissing comedian Ben Marshall during his Saturday Night Live monologue. He recalled critics focusing on his clothes and said, "Back then, people seemed to pay a lot of attention to the clothes I was wearing and some people accused me of something called 'queerbaiting.'" He added, "But did it ever occur to you: You don't know everything about me, Dad!" Styles called himself "tremendously boring" and joked that people pretend to find his hobbies interesting because he's a celebrity.
