Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie named Olympic torchbearers
Nbc reports that Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie will serve as torchbearers during the relay leading up to the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony.
The actors, stars of Heated Rivalry who portray pro hockey players and have become routinely mobbed by fans, will join the relay as the torch makes a roughly 7,500-mile journey from Rome to Milan and is carried through all 110 Italian provinces. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for February 6, with live coverage beginning at 2 p.m. ET and primetime at 8 p.m. ET; the broadcast will stream on Peacock, and Savannah Guthrie and Terry Gannon are set to host.
It is not yet known exactly where or when Williams and Storrie will carry the torch; they follow past celebrity torchbearers such as Snoop Dogg. Recent public appearances — including Williams' January 7 visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where fans waited at 30 Rockefeller Plaza — underscore the pair's strong fan interest.
