Henry Cavill’s spy thriller Argylle grossed just $96.4 million worldwide against a $200 million budget, leaving it more than $300 million short of its break-even point before moving to streaming.

The film, positioned by Apple as a James Bond-style epic and featuring John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell, has streamed on Apple TV since the end of its theatrical run. Jason Fuchs wrote the script and Matthew Vaughn directed, and Argylle has remained in the top 10 on Apple TV in several countries nearly two years after release.

Fans have long pushed Cavill as a potential James Bond, though Amazon is looking for a younger actor to carry the franchise, and the same restrictions have kept other contenders such as Idris Elba from consideration.
