Highguard to launch Jan. 26; SteamDB lists global release at 1 p.m. EST

Polygon reports Highguard is releasing on Monday, Jan. 26. There isn't an official release time from Wildlight Entertainment, but according to SteamDB the official global release is Monday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. EST.

That corresponds to 10 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. EST, 3 p.m. BRT, 6 p.m. GMT, 7 p.m. CET, 3 a.m. JST on Tuesday, Jan. 27, and 5 a.m. AEDT on Thursday, Jan. 27. There's no news on whether you can pre-load Highguard or not, but the game is free-to-play. We've no reason to suspect this will be the case, but the release time may differ between platforms, as we cannot verify the PS5 or Xbox Series X times.

Highguard is described on its Steam page as "a PvP raid shooter where players will ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent," and comes from the creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall. Wildlight Entertainment has prepared a launch showcase on Monday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. EST to coincide with release; it will feature a gameplay deep dive, a year one roadmap, and more, though the exact nature of a "PvP raid shooter" remains unclear.
