Movieweb reports that Netflix's new thriller series His & Hers, based on Alice Feeney's 2020 novel, dropped on Jan. 8, 2026 and runs six episodes, making it suitable for a weekend binge.

The show stars Tessa Thompson as Anna and Jon Bernthal as Jack. Anna, a former news anchor who has been living in Atlanta, returns to her hometown of Dahlonega after a murder, reuniting with Jack, who stayed behind and works as a detective. The trailer highlights their fraught dynamic, including Anna asking, "Is it true you knew her?" and Jack replying to a colleague, "That's my wife." The series also features supporting characters Lexy (Rebecca Rittenhouse) and Zoe (Marin Ireland) and explores questions of love, marriage, guilt and innocence.

All six episodes are available now, so viewers can watch the full story in a weekend. The series makes viewers think that either Anna or Jack committed the murder and "makes it clear that something wild will likely be revealed by the final episode," so the identity of the killer remains unresolved until the finale.
