How Are Health Care Costs Affecting You?
Millions of Americans struggle with the price of health care. Many people who buy plans through the Obamacare marketplace are paying much more for their coverage this year than they did before the enhanced subsidies expired at the end of 2025. To afford monthly premiums, some people are choosing plans with much higher deductibles, and some are finding they cannot afford any kind of coverage.
The cost of the plans offered by employers is also going up, and many employees are having to contribute more of their paychecks. As a result, people are making difficult choices about delaying or skipping medical care and are trading off other parts of their lives to be able to pay for care.
We want to hear from readers who are trying to manage their medical bills and their health insurance costs. We may reach out to hear more about your submission, but we will not publish any part of your response without contacting you first, and we will never publicly share your personal information.
