How Many Blind Auditions Are on The Voice? Season 29 Guide
Season 29 of The Voice features three Coaches — John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine — and a Battle of Champions format that still begins with the Blind Auditions. Legend called it "a special season," and Levine added, "It does feel very Gladiator," signaling a more aggressive tone among the Coaches.
The Blind Auditions remain the moment when Artists perform unseen and Coaches press the red button to turn their chairs. If more than one Coach turns, the power flips and the Coaches must compete to recruit the Artist. This season each Coach will fill a team of 10 Artists, creating a total of 30 competitors advancing to the Battles.
Blind Auditions will run across three rounds and conclude in March 2026, with each episode lasting two hours. The first night of Blind Auditions is the season premiere on February 23 at 9/8c; the second is March 2 and the final night is March 9. Every episode will be available to stream the day after it airs.
