Some Pokémon do better when you alter the humidity of their habitats, and changing it is a task you’ll encounter during the Yawn Up a Storm quest. It isn’t quick or simple and often requires redesigning the surrounding area. To make humidity wetter, water any dry ground or dead trees, plant and water flowers, and add more trees.

Use Rock Smash to unblock nearby water springs, move habitats closer to a water source, or build a Rain Dance habitat and invite water Pokémon to start a rain party. Once water sources are unblocked, increasing watered plants and trees is the easiest way to raise humidity.

Drying an area takes more effort: place habitats near dry earth, plants, and trees, or move them away from water. Adding one or more campfires helps, and the Smooth Rock item automatically lowers surrounding humidity. There is only one natural Smooth Stone and it’s needed to rebuild Onyx’s home; to make more, complete the Rebuild the Pokemon Center quest and use the 3D printer inside the Pokémon Center to duplicate the Smooth Rock.
