How to complete Source of the Contamination in Arc Raiders

After you help Celeste locate the contaminated water in the Water Troubles quest, she asks you to track down the source. That sends you to a hotspot on Dam Battlegrounds for the Source of the Contamination quest. It isn't difficult to find from the quest thumbnail, but you must interact with a specific spot and reaching it can be risky.

Start at the Water Treatment Building in the centre of Dam Battlegrounds and head to the flood spill intake on the building's north side near the Swamp. The intake is a small, unpleasant pool of water set into the side of the facility, level with the swamp and bordered by concrete ramps.

You'll need to return to this flood spill intake during the A Toxic Trail quest, so take note of its location. Interact with the yellow barrel in the water, which is leaking pollutants, to complete the objective. When you're done, leave via the nearby Central Swamp Lift just a short walk north, but watch for a Rocketeer that can sometimes patrol the extract.
