How to complete Survival Directive in Marathon

Completing the Survival Directive contract comes immediately after you finish Introducing: NuCaloric and unlock the foodie faction in Marathon. It’s the first contract you do for them and awards a decent chunk of faction rep. The upgrades that grant free daily Patch Kits and Shield Rechargers are particularly useful.

To complete the contract you must head to Perimeter and interact with two terminals, one in Station and another in Overflow. In Station, approach from the south and look for the southeasternmost big black building marked DRN STN, usually near an exfil point. Walkways lead to the upper floor; go inside and interact with the terminal to download the geological survey.

The botany report terminal sits on the upper floor of the southernmost building marked OVRFLW. If you come from the east, pass the large yellow K3 structures, then move under the building’s overhang toward the west side of the compound, skirting the main Overflow structure between it and the cliffs.
