How to FaceTime on Android (or your Windows PC) - no third-party app needed
When an iPhone user invites an Android user to FaceTime, the Android recipient receives a link via text, email, or whatever method the sender chooses. Opening that link in a browser loads the video call and prompts the participant to add their name. For a successful iPhone-to-Android FaceTime call, the iPhone must run iOS 15 or later, a Mac must run macOS 12 Monterey or later, and an iPad must run iPadOS 15 or later.
You can also open a FaceTime link on a PC, so using FaceTime across platforms works much like joining a Zoom, Teams, or Meet call. Android devices cannot initiate FaceTime calls and can only join calls hosted by Apple users. FaceTime is not available on the Google Play Store, so Android users who want to start calls can use alternatives such as Google Meet or WhatsApp.
You can send a FaceTime link to multiple people and allow several users to join the same call, similar to a Zoom link.
