How to feed foxes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Foxes only appear in the Frosted Heights biome. There are five variations you can befriend: Classic, Red, Black, Blue, and White.

Their favourite food is White Sturgeon, which you can catch in the Frosted Heights from orange ripples. If you can’t find White Sturgeon, any fish or seafood from the Frosted Heights will work; you’ll receive smaller rewards but it still counts toward the consecutive days needed to unlock a fox as a companion.

You can’t approach a fox immediately—you must chase it around the biome, similar to Rabbits. When a fox stops and lets you get close, the ‘Approach’ prompt appears. Press E, then choose the food from your inventory to feed it.

Each fox colour follows a different schedule. If you need a reminder of when each variant appears in the Frosted Heights, check the collections menu or refer to the schedule table provided.
