How to feed raccoons in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Raccoons in Disney Dreamlight Valley live in the Forest of Valor and their favourite food is blueberries, which can be foraged in that same biome. The area is accessible fairly early in the game, so with a bit of persistence you can add a raccoon companion without much trouble.
If you can’t find blueberries you can also feed gooseberries, raspberries, or strawberries, but these alternatives yield lower-quality rewards rather than the Dream Shards and Motif Bags you get for feeding their favourite food.
The tricky part is catching one. Raccoons are very skittish and will run away if you approach too quickly. Move slowly until the animal stands on its hind legs, then stop. When it relaxes, inch closer and repeat until the interact menu appears, then offer food.
Only the Forest of Valor hosts raccoons, and there are five colour variations that follow different schedules. If you’re unsure which are available while you’re playing, check the Companions tab in your Collections menu.
