How to get a Firefly Burner in Arc Raiders

Locating a Firefly Burner in Arc Raiders is required for the final stage of the Weather Monitor System project. You obtain it by defeating a Firefly, one of two new arc enemies introduced in the Shrouded Sky update. That update also adds trickier quests such as A Rising Tide and Worth Your Salt, but collecting a Firefly Burner is relatively straightforward.

Fireflies appear on every map, though Dam Battlegrounds around the Hydroponic Dome Complex and the nearby swamp are reliable places to find them. They look a bit like Hornets but are pointier—like a jet from below—and have an extra metal plate on top that makes them appear to be wearing a little hat.

If you’re unsure, tag the enemy to confirm it’s a Firefly. Take them down the same way you do Hornets: shoot the two rear rotor fans or strip the armour from the front two fans. A Ferro will suffice, an Anvil works better, and Seeker Grenades are a cheap, effective option since they devastate flying arc enemies.
