How to get the MacBook Neo $499 education price
Apple’s new MacBook Neo is regularly priced at $599, but education pricing knocks $100 off the cost, bringing it to $499. The discounted price makes the Neo a stronger rival to inexpensive Windows laptops and Chromebooks. The iPad M4 Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air are also available with education savings.
Education pricing is available to current and newly accepted college students and their parents, as well as faculty, staff, and homeschool teachers at all grade levels. At the K‑12 level, employees of public or private schools qualify, including homeschool teachers, plus school board members and PTA or PTO officers who are currently serving.
For higher education, faculty, staff, students attending or accepted, and parents buying on behalf of a student are eligible. Apple does not require verification at the point of sale, but order checks are random; if selected, buyers must email scanned school IDs or enrollment documents for confirmation.
