How to mine iron ore for Rhett's Request in Crimson Desert

After visiting Rhett you'll be given a pickaxe and a map marker for ore east of Hernand, just to the east of the tree-chopping spot for Turnali, so you can tackle both tasks at once.

Climb partway up the cliff toward the rocks with metallic-looking deposits. Hold F2 (Left D-pad on controller) to open the equipment wheel and move the arrow to the top left; if you have multiple tools use the mouse wheel to cycle to the pickaxe, then release F2 to equip it.

Stand in front of a rock and press the left mouse button (RB on controller) to strike it and release ore, then pick it up. Each rock drops a couple of iron ore; hold CTRL (LB on controller) to aim more precisely before you swing. You only need two iron ore to complete the request.

Take the ore to Rhett's Assistant at the Equinsher Saddlery just to the south—he's a shirtless giant. Do not return the ore to Rhett in person. The reward is an inventory expansion, some Contribution, and you get to keep the pickaxe.
