How to unlock all Characters in Crimson Desert

Warning: the following guide contains very minor spoilers for Crimson Desert. There are three playable characters (not including summons and mounts): Kliff, Damiane and Oongka. Each has different abilities, unique equipment and character-specific missions and challenges, though Damiane and Oongka are not available from the start.

Kliff is unlocked by default and is the main protagonist. He is playable from the beginning, has the most abilities and powers to unlock, and the main campaign revolves around him, although there are brief stretches where other characters take over and Kliff is temporarily unplayable.

Damiane becomes available in Chapter 3. You see her before you can play as her, but she unlocks once you progress partway through the Chapter 3 portion of the main campaign. She specialises in speed, ranged options and handling groups of enemies, favouring a rapier and small shield alongside a flintlock pistol and musket.
