OpenAI offers app integrations in ChatGPT that let you connect your accounts and ask the assistant to act on your behalf. To begin, make sure you’re logged into ChatGPT, then type the name of the app at the start of your prompt and follow the sign-in prompts. If you prefer to set things up in one place, open Settings and choose Apps and Connectors to browse available apps and link accounts.

Connecting an app shares its data with ChatGPT, so review the permissions you grant during linking. For example, a Spotify connection gives ChatGPT access to your playlists, listening history and other personal information to personalize recommendations. You can disconnect any app at any time from the Settings menu.

Integrations cover travel, shopping, productivity and more. Spotify can create playlists and manage your library, DoorDash can build meal plans and add ingredients to your cart in the U.S., and booking partners such as Booking.com and Expedia can surface hotels and flights inside chat before you complete reservations on their sites.
