How to watch The Voice Season 29 premiere for free
“The Voice” returns for Season 29 with a “Battle of Champions” premiere on Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. ET, airing weekly on Mondays at 9 p.m. The coaching panel has been reduced to three and, for the first time, all coaches are former winners: Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Adam Levine.
Legend and Levine rejoin the show after a one-season hiatus, and Clarkson last coached during Season 23. The season introduces a new round called “The In-Season All-Star Competition,” in which two contestants from each coach’s former teams will compete. Former coach CeeLo Green will judge that round, and the coach with the most All-Star wins in the knockout round is guaranteed a second artist in the finale.
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch “The Voice” live. DIRECTV offers a five-day free trial for new subscribers and access to more than 90 live channels, including NBC, with plans starting at $59.99/month after the trial.
