Hudson Williams Played Connor Storrie's Best Bud in SNL's 'Ice Skating'
February 28 was a huge night for people who ice skate and the fans who love them. Connor Storrie brought out Team USA hockey players Hilary Knight, Megan Keller, Jack Hughes and Quinn Hughes during his Saturday Night Live monologue, and later Hudson Williams appeared in the "Ice Skating" sketch opposite Storrie.
At the start, a couple working out their issues — Casper (Tommy Brennan) and Veronika Slowikowska — are distracted by three freewheeling skating pals: Mikey Day, Bryce (Storrie) and Ben Marshall. "I'm having so much fun, Danny," one man tells his friend Bryce as they whiz past, and Bryce exalts, "Ah, I feel so free!
I feel like Alysa Liu right now." Marshall razzes them and even scoots by to tickle Brennan, asking, "That your girlfriend?" Their fourth friend finally arrives when Hudson Williams skates in, asking, "Who's ready to skate their butts off?" and declaring, "I've never felt so cool." The bachelor-bros' endless bits and contagious joy prove preferable to Casper's relationship situation.
