If you haven't tried ultrawide gaming, there's a deal on a behemoth of a monitor that makes a tempting upgrade. At close to $500 you are paying just over $11 per inch for a 45-inch curved 1440p panel.

The screen runs at up to 120 Hz with a 1 ms response time, and its R1500 curve should add to the sense of immersion. It will need a lot of desk space, and while it isn't the typical choice for a dual-monitor setup, the extra real estate makes it easy to keep tabs and games visible at once. The unit can also serve as a USB hub with 90w power delivery and includes built-in speakers.

Ultrawide does have drawbacks: some games lack ultrawide support and display black bars to preserve a traditional aspect ratio, a problem more common in older titles; tools like Flawless Widescreen can force support. The Innocn model isn't the cheapest ultrawide—that honor goes to LG—but at under $500 it remains one of the biggest and a solid option.
