Hulu’s Near-Perfect Sci-Fi Thriller Surges Just as Season 2 Promises a Darker Turn
When Paradise debuted on January 26, 2025, the Hulu series broke new ground with major twists, riveting performances and an unpredictable story that began as a political murder mystery and expanded into something much larger. Season 2 shifts the action entirely.
After Collins learns his wife might still be alive and sneaks onto a plane to search for her in Atlanta, the show moves out of the bunker and into a post-apocalyptic, road-movie mode — at times in the vein of The Last of Us or The Walking Dead. The season, which aired its first three episodes on February 23, 2026, introduces new characters such as Annie (Shailene Woodley), Link (Thomas Doherty) and Gary (Cameron Britton), who help paint the landscape of the world that remains.
The new chapter is also finding an audience: Paradise is at number two on the U.S. Hulu streaming charts per FlixPatrol, and its second season holds an 88 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, up from 86 percent for Season 1.
