Hyper debuts TrackPad Pro, USB4 M.2 enclosure and solid-state power banks at CES
Accessory maker Hyper announced several new products at CES, including the TrackPad Pro, a wireless premium haptic touchpad for Windows; a HyperDrive Next USB4 M.2 PCIe enclosure for NVMe SSDs and PCIe modules; and three solid-state power banks with Qi2 charging and optional FindMy support.
ZDNet's hands-on earlier this year described the TrackPad Pro as a customizable, premium trackpad with a 240Hz report rate, multiple layers of click haptics, a slanted design with smart palm rejection, and Hydra Connect software for deep gesture customization. The device uses a single USB-C port on its top for charging or wired use and, Hyper says, offers a full month of battery life; it will be available in late Q1 2026 for $129.
The HyperDrive Next USB4 M.2 PCIe enclosure is marketed for fast data transfers over USB4 at "speeds of 64bps" in an aluminum chassis designed for passive cooling, with thermal pads included. It supports a range of M.2 sizes (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280), and has two front Thunderbolt ports — one for data and the other for external power delivery up to 25W.
The enclosure is on sale for $200, and Hyper cautions buyers to double-check system requirements: Windows 11 users need a PC with a Thunderbolt 4 port and non-supporting systems may not read the enclosure properly. Hyper's solid-state power banks replace liquid electrolytes with solid materials to run cooler, reduce overheating risk, and charge faster with Qi2 and Qi2.2.
