Hyperliquid Will Hit $150 by Mid 2026, Predicts BitMEX's Arthur Hayes

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicts Hyperliquid’s HYPE token could reach $150 by August if the platform continues pulling derivatives volume from centralized exchanges and expands its product suite. Hayes says HYPE could climb roughly fivefold from around $30, provided Hyperliquid’s 30-day annualized revenue run rate rises to $1.40 billion by August from $843 million in March.

Such growth would require the DEX to capture another 3.96% share of derivatives volume from centralized exchanges after already absorbing about 6% as of March. Hyperliquid channels roughly 97% of its revenue into buybacks of HYPE from the open market, a structure Hayes says can support the token price as trading activity increases.

Tokenized oil trading has become a key driver: the CL‑USDC crude-perpetual pair reached about $1.29 billion in 24‑hour volume, overtaking ETH‑USDC at roughly $1.24 billion.
