Hyundai to livestream CES 2026 showcase of holographic windshield and new Atlas robot
Hyundai will livestream its CES 2026 presentation on January 5 at 4 PM ET via its HyundaiUSA and global YouTube channels.
The company said it will present a range of in-cabin and mobility technologies as automakers scale back new-vehicle reveals at CES following the Trump administration's removal of most EV incentives.
Hyundai Mobis will show “more than 30 mobility convergence technologies,” including a Holographic Windshield Display: a next-generation heads-up display that projects dash data across the windshield on an 18.1-inch, vertically expandable surface. Passengers can watch videos that are not visible to the driver. Mobis developed the system with optics specialist Zeiss and plans mass production in 2029.
Hyundai will also unveil its AI Robotics Strategy with a first look at the new Atlas robot. In a press release the company said, “This next-generation Atlas represents a tangible step toward the commercialization of AI Robotics, highlighting the Group’s commitment to building safe and adaptable robotic co-workers.” The teaser image depicts Atlas with a dog-like appearance; Hyundai acquired Boston Dynamics in 2020.
Other topics on Hyundai’s CES agenda include electronics and chassis system safety, an AR head-up display, low-power display solutions and EV drive systems.
