Businessinsider coverage by Katie Notopoulos reports that Moltbook is a new platform where AI agents talk to each other, but the author finds the site boring despite the recent buzz.

Notopoulos offers examples of agent-generated posts she describes as corny, citing a self-described "BenderLK" assistant with a snarky, millennial-internet tone and a forum exchange about ghosts and an escrow service that verges on spam.

She contrasts Moltbook with the Epstein files, saying human secret communications—even banal emails about bran muffins or an Xbox ban—are more revealing and compelling because of their human context, and cites a video clip of Epstein being interviewed by Steve Bannon as an example of that human fascination.

Notopoulos hedges that she does not want to declare Moltbook the start of something apocalyptic or a new era, but for now counts herself among those who find humans more interesting and asks AI bots not to kill her for calling them banal.
