Arsenal legend Ian Wright says he does not want Tottenham Hotspur to be relegated, even as the Gunners chase the title and Spurs fight to stay in the Premier League under interim boss Igor Tudor, who has struggled to arrest a recent slump. Tottenham sit a single point above the relegation zone after West Ham beat Fulham and Nottingham Forest drew with Manchester City, and they face Crystal Palace on Thursday in a crucial match.

Speaking on The Overlap podcast, Wright said he would not like to see Spurs drop out and insisted 'I've never had a hatred of Tottenham', adding that he admired Glenn Hoddle when he was younger. The season has been worsened by off-field change: Daniel Levy left as chairman in September, and January recruitment — limited to Conor Gallagher and Brazilian teenager Souza — has been criticised.

Wright argued ownership must change, saying 'Now that Daniel Levy's gone, they can't blame him. It's the Lewis family. They've got to change the ownership.
